Agco payed Cat with 1,020,356 shares of unregistered(with the SEC)Agco stock. Cat can not turn around and sell this stock. I wonder how large a shareholder in Agco that now makes Cat?

Yes I read that also, don't know how large a share that would give CAT. Maybe enough that when CAT talks AGCO will listen. Now we will wait to see how the product lines take shape, should be interesting.

So whats that all about. AGCO not got any money to pay CAT so they give them shares instead. Sounds to me like CAT's up for buying AGCO!

There both winners. Cat challenger can sell to a worldwide dealernetwork. And Agco can use Cat components (technology). I hope MF get on the hole line Perkins engines. Tractors Combines. They now use some cummins, sisu.
