Can anyone shed some light on the end of the line tractors from Marshall,the 754,854,954? They are interesting looking tractors. Were they as good as the earlier Leyland designed ones?

maybe they are the ones sourced from Steyr, pre case era and rebadged. probably the quality control was better

No, I meant the real Marshall ones built by them prior to the short lived deal with Steyr.

I would think those would be not so good .I believe :Dthe company was then owned Theakston Bros in Hull or Goole . If they had been any good then they would still be manufacturing

From what I understand the workforce was becoming too expensive at this time for the marketplace.
I also thought that at this time the company then known as Marshall Tractors Ltd. was owned by Bentall-Simplex Industries.

Yes that could be correct the Theakstone bros were manufacturing grain drying equip as well.they maybe did own simplex etc
