Hey NewHollander,
Thanks for the sentiments, they really mean alot to us!!
Interesting spot there. What is the jist of it?
I guess it all goes back to the Sear's DieHard battery in the US. It was not the best battery available, just had the most advertising $$$ behind it!! So people bought them by the millions, thinking they were the best money could buy!! Kinda sounds familiar,eh? Deere could still be behind it,they are trying to conquer Europe at this very moment!!!!!

I'm also from Holland, and i for one really like that commercial. It's about getting the spinach as fast as you can from land to kitchentable. And could it be they took the John Deere because of the green spinach colour? Or because of the green is good, red is bad thing. I don't know. But man hey, isn't it great to see two tractors in one commercial. In Holland and i think more countries in Europe that is very unusual. We had some other commercials in which farmers are reduced to a cartoon character but i guess that's the way commercials are supposed to be.

I kind of liked the comercial too. Better than one running in Sweden right now: A farmer on an old Fergie tractor and a small trailer driving slowly is blocking a small road. Bunch of cars behind him can't pass. He eats a piece of candy, smiles and thinks to himself "I am the leader of a pepole...".
