I've heard that there are Valtra S series tractors being delivered in Germany,France ,and Scandinavia.
Has anyone seen one yet?
I wonder how long it will take for the tech and styling to trickle down the line? A S series styled Mezzo would sure be a good looking tractor!!

Don't know anymore than you, maybe they will make it to our shores by years end. I was searching the web and noticed Valtra signed up a dealer in my area( less than 150 miles from me) I will have to check them out. They had a ad in Fastline, showed 6 tractors(red, blue and your favorite green)Keep us posted on the new flagship the S.

They've had some out here for show at dealers and even a test-drive event (mised it!). I had a chance to climb up into one, hope it was a not quite finnished demo. It is nice looking and I love that you can revers the drivers position, however I'm sorry to say I dont think had quite the "quality-feel" (mainlyin cab interior and layout) that you find in some other brands. We will have to see if the S-series will keep with Valtra philosophy: A low price, low weight alternative to JD/CNH. In my opinion, if Valtra tries to fight with "the big boys", JD8000 and MX Magnum, they will lose. However if they can find a niche-sector such as low-tech (the route no one wants to take it seems), low price, low weight, no Powershift, reversible driversposition etc. they might have a chance. keep in mind, every manufacturer (JD,CIH,Fendt,MF,Agco,Cat,Renault,NH,Buhler,Valtra,Same,Deutz,Hurlimann,Lamborghini etc.) want's a piece of the 200-300 hp market, and demand is limited.
