Used tractors. Good or bad?

Does anybody know the pros and cons of these used tractors? What technical aspects should i pay special attention to?
- Massey Ferguson 3055
- New Holland 5640
- John Deere 6100
- Case-IH 845XL

Having worked in the past for a MF dealer, on the 3055 special attention needs to be payed on the gaerbox (all MD gearboxes seem to have a life expectancy of 3-4000 hrs. The 3055 is a small hp tractor, so may not eat it's gearbox as quick, but be carefull. Also the electric junction box under the cab can corrode so check all electric operations.
