According to the Irish Farmers Journal, the German Magazine Top Agrar has just published the results of a comprehensive survey of 3444 tractor users in Germany.
Here is a brief summary.
97% of Valtra operators would buy that make again JD-95% Fendt-92% NH-91%
repair costs per 1000 hours - Valtra €62 !!!!!!!! NH - €126 JD - €141 MF - €224 Fendt - €190 Deutz €391
% of users with trouble free tractors - Valtra 32% JD - 27% NH - 25% Fendt - 25% Deutz - 17%
Valtra beats JD by a length.
NH, Fendt and Renault make up the top 5.
Deutz are bad, and SAME are the worst
The results seem to bear out the sentiments of the posters on Agmachinery, and the Rednecks now know that SAME are the machine to buy when CIH gets the NH treatment :-)
