I looked one over last week in T.O. Did not look too shabby for a Deere! I can see why the members of the Cult are a tad bit dismayed over the styling though, along with the absence of cab lights too! I feel the 6020s are better than before in the looks department,as for the bigger ones well........ For some unexplained reason Deere decided to really pack in the technology this time around! Makes me wonder what they're saving for the 7020s?
Only problem I can see is that it won a one horse race!! Sorry bud,did not mean to rain on your green lovers parade there!

If you want you can vote yourself. Just go the newspage and find the link to the voting page. I'd like to see if the visitors of this page think like the European journalists.

i think it would be a different story if the new challenger was freely available or the apparent new fendt vario! or even this new magnum that should be appearing, or the new JCB Fastrac or the new valtra or the new....... and the list goes on and on.....
woodbeef - i am afraid we've lost him to the cult of deere. its official then
'LAAPA IS A DEEROID'
Seriously though, when i saw the new 8020 series my 1st impressions were that it was an 8010 series with a new bonnet and pump tweak. they have not made that many changes - apart from to the price!
however there is nothing out there to compare to at the moment. hows about giving it the half yearly 2002 award and then when the others are released in th esummer time - one of them can finish the year off!

I agree with Lee the 20 series is only a 10 series with a few more horse power, a different bonnet and copied Case MX suspension (I forget whoes axle it is), so it looks life JD have the award for their name, and marketing not engineering
