Similar to Farm Tractors 1950-1975 (so similar I'll use the same review). Some neat new features such as a bunch of intersting charts at the back.
This is the third in a 3 book series. It covers all tractors tested at the university of Nebraska from 1975-1995 254 p. B&W photos. ASAE. All tractors are illustrated with a black and white photo and some specs are listed. (hp@rpm, engine, # of grears, hp/hr gal, dB) Also for every year there is an overview of what is new that particular year. It is a great way to follow the evolution of farm machinery from an engineers perspective.
As in the previous book I would like a little more specs, but that would make a huge book. Also, since it covers only Nebraska-tested tractors Eurpoean makes that were never sold in the US are not inculded.

I found this one a bit better put together than the earlier one. this author kept more in line with year to yera models. But as the first one in the series, scant info in places. At least it has some of the OECD tested tractors listed that were sold over here.

A useful reference of the American scene of the 80's and 90's. Most useful is the company and model timelines in the rear covering almagamations, renames etc.
