Went to the farm show today in Toronto. Saw a Zetor with metallic paint,Deere 8520,M/F 4335,little o&v McCormicks. Also saw a Valtra 6750 Eco Power, and X-series.
What will probably interest you guys the most is I saw that new swoopy looking, plastic paneled NH combine. Now I do not know diddly squat about these things, but it did look good. Seemed to be kinda vulernable to damage though. Plenty of bodies crawling all over it everywhere you looked.

Woodbeef, its interesting to see that US and Canadian farmers seem to be very interested in the vulnerability of the CX-combine. I was worried about that to when i took a first look at those machines. But i realized that the large side panels are not made of some kind of plastic; they are made of metal. I asked why; and the guys from NH said it was plastic when they first started developing the CX, but the material was indeed to vulnerable and not-easy-reparable.
Lee, are you really sure the machines are technically exact copies of the TX-machines? For what i've heard there are some drastic changes; bigger concave, trashers, faster rotating header, larger walkers.

Agmachinery,
My friend has been demoing for them for 4 years now - with this next year being his 5th and according to him the CX and TX range are about 90% identical.
Personally i have never seen a CX - so i cant comment

Hello there...
Five Cx combines were sold here in Denmark before the last harvest, 1 cx740, 1 cx760 and 3 cx860. The biggest Danish agricultual newspaper MASKINBLADET testet it along with a contracter, and they were impressed - the capacity was up between 10-25% on the 860 compared to the tx68plus. The contracter who tested it had two Lexion 450, and said the Cx had bigger capacity!!!!. So now matter the changers be 10 or 40% from the tx the capacity is up, and personly dont mind them being close to the tx, as its on h..l of good, relaible machine....
