you can put a 150hp tractor on the 4 metre for drilling rape early on as it dry, but as soon as the rain comes we need the 220 hp on the front. its a case 7230 with big wheels on it and it pulls it well.
were only going to use the crawler on the cultivator

According to a post by John Walter in Agriculture Online Forum: Claas to purchase Cat's stake in Lexion combine plant Claas announced Tuesday that it will purchase Caterpillar's shares in the Caterpillar Claas America 50/50 joint venture, which manufactures Lexion combines designed for the North American market at a plant in Omaha, Nebraska. The Lexion combines will continue to be distributed exclusively by Caterpillar dealers under the Caterpillar brand in North America. Claas, based in Harsewinkel, Germany, manufactures combines and forage harvesters and equipment for the European market, and operates production facilities throughout the world. The Claas purchase of the stake won't slow production at the Omaha plant, company officials say. "This decision means day-to-day operations at the headquarters in Omaha will continue uninterrupted," the company said in a statement. "Our customers and our dealers have been extremely happy with the performance of the Lexion combine," said Theo Freye, general manager at Caterpillar Claas America. "There is a change in ownership of our company, but the product and the support that goes with it will remain just where it is -- at the top of the industry." Caterpillar dealers in North America will continue to have exclusive rights to sell and support the Lexion combine in their current territories. The combine will continue to carry the Caterpillar brand and Caterpillar components, including engines and the Mobil-trac System undercarriage, the company said. 01/29/2002 03:43 p.m. CDT
