Does anybody know of a website where I can find out more about the agricultural practices of large state-owned russian farms. I know how pretty well how things work in Europe and the US from having worked there but I would like to know more about how big-scale farming was handeled in such an enviroment. Would be interesting to know more about tillage-practises and machinery for instance.
Websites in English, not russian, please
(Disclaimer: No, I do not think Communism is a great thing and whish the government would come and run my farm. I merely wish to learn more about agriculture in the history of the world.)

I ran across a few sites dealings with ag in the former Soviet Union the other day. One is [a href="http://www.agriukraine.com/index/jsp?lan=3 "]http://www.agriukraine.com/index/jsp?lan=3 [/a] I saw mainly newer material but there may be some links to what you're looking for.

Well, i looked around and found this website, thought i'd share it. I don't think Russians have ever been known for their great comedy talent but it gives an interesting perspective. www.artukraine.com/cultsites/humor.htm
