Anyone know of a website or any info regarding tractor and equipment sales in Europe? I've found info on registration in the UK, but now I can't remember where. I don't get "Profi" so that's not really an option. Also, besides Laverda and the Dronningberg plant, are there any other European companies building combines anymore? Would anyone consider "DON" in this category?

New Holland bought the Bizon plant in Poland some years ago, they still produce lowcost machines.

I Believe that European Law forbids the disclosure of sale figures until 3 years have passed, so the figures cannot be published. Cheer Simon

CaseIH also builds combines in Germany at the old Forschritt (spelling? ) plant. By DON, do you mean DonRoque? I belive it is made in SouthAmerica. Also there is the Sampo Rosenlew combines made in Finland.

Thank you, Laapa. I had never heard of the Sampo Rosenlew company before. Very interesting.....They build combines as small as 75 HP/10-11 foot cut if I read right. I thought Deutz and MF were the only ones who built any small combines anymore? What I mean by DON is the Russian (Ukarainian, Byelorussian?) built combines that Belarus sold through their dealers. You may not have had them in Europe. They were advertised for a couple of years and then they disappeared. Just wondering if they were still around.........

Ah, that DON. I do not know if they were sold in Europe (but I guess a few were). Only time I've seen them was on a trip to Lithuania a few years ago. PAMI institute in Canada tested a DON 1500. and you can read the results at: www.agric.gov.ab.ca/esb/afmrc/sum4c6.htmlSampo traditionally has made smaller size combines. The last year their machines have been available either as Sampo Aktiv yellow or as MF-labled red combines , though I do belive they are not owned by AGCO. (Dronningborg built the large european MF-combines and Sampo the smaller ones) Last year they showed a fairly large 6-walker combine. How this fits into the general mess of AGCO combines and independents i have no Idea.
