I read in some forum about the future of Case & New Holland. In all the forums people say that the future of the company is a common platform based on the TM series. What will do Case-Ih with the MX, Magnums and CVX ? I read that the new conventional Case combines are based on New Holland's TX. Is it true?

Yes the C,CX,MXc,MX(Maxxums) are to be relagated to history. CNH is currently working on the next generation Magnum, which will be the common platform for the larger tractors. I'm not sure about what is happening with the tractors from Steyr(who manufacture the best tractors sold by CNH).
All of the new combines are going to be of NewHolland platform, from what I've been told.
I'm also hearing rumors that the TS series will remain.

Once more I must say congratulations!! Great pictures about new CNH tractors!! Yesterday I tried to post some comments related to these tractors but I couldn´t … This is what I think as industrial designer: NEW MEDIUM-POWERED TRACTORS: As you said the MX 145 shown is based on the TM platform. The front frame is pretty similar to the one used on current TM models. The cab frame is the one designed for the Ford 40 Series launched in 1991. This well known cab frame has been mounted on New Holland M/60 and now TM Series. They have just added an MX Magnum-styled roof. This could be a 1/1 Scale Model to test aesthetics although I think this tractor seems to be finished. Anyway I always thought CNH would built a completely new platform for this range of power, because: 1. ARGO owns the Doncaster plant and sells current MX Maxxums to Case IH while they produce the MTX Series of McCormick. These models are quite similar to the MX Maxxums introduced in 1997/8 apart from the drive trains (Perkins engines, for instance). So because of marketing/agreement reasons new MX can not be based on the current ones. 2. Current TM models are based on M/60 Series introduced in 1996. The cab frame was old by then. For instance, try to access a Case IH with MX cab and then a NH TM…Much better on current McCormicks MTX and Case IH. No comments about space, visibility,… Emergency seems to be the key at CNH, because of reason 1. NEW HIGH-POWERED TRACTORS: The picture of the TG tractor shows what we call a mock-up. It is not a real tractor. Built just to have an impression of dimensions and appearance. You can see the cab resting on blocks. It is a real/ current MX Magnum cab while the rest of the tractor (apart from the wheels) could be built from plastic, wood or any other model making materials. I would not say this is the current MX Magnum platform. Obviously it does not have the same cast frame. These new models lose the long bonnet (similar to the ones on Valmets and JDs 8000/ 8010/ 8020) to mount the SuperSteer front axle. Something quite predictable since there is no way of fitting the SuperSteer axle on current Magnum frame (no room for the wheels turning). On the other hand I do not know whether these new frame keeps similar engines and transmissions to current Magnums or not. It could be but I wouldn´t call it Magnum platform. It looks like the agreement with Buhler (current owner and manufacturer of Genesis/ 70/ G Series models) gives more time for designing to CNH. Thanks a lot for the pictures and congratulations.
