When I visited the factory in Harsewinkel last spring they had a Xerion on display in their showroom. This year at Agritechnica Claas did not show it and I cant find any info on it in the sales litterature.Did they discontinue production of it? I guess it was perhaps too much of a specialized product.

It would seem unlikely to me that Claas would discontinue the production of the Xerion. Sales are slow, that's true and it is a very specialized product. But as i remember it still is the toy of Claas-chief Helmut Claas. He is still involved in the company and i don't think he will allow them to stop producing the Xerion. To be continued???

They did eventually discontinue production of their CS combines, also a brainchild and pet project of Helmut Claas. I guess the old man have to give in sometimes.
