"There are two machines operating in the UK. Heard that the one contractor that is using the machine is slightly disappointed that the only change is to the engine and the panelwork".

I have guys I work with that are waiting for the 1000 hp CLAAS. They have 35,000 cows on 5 dairies. They chop over 1000 acres a day of corn silage. For them the bigger the better. They also use 4-wd tractors with blades on their silage piles, but they have 6 packing at one time. This is in centeral MN.

For the custom operators in the California area, is it practical to run fewer big machines ( like 1000 HP ) or more smaller machine of the 890 and 900 variety. Here on the east coast it is highly unlikely to find to many of these 1000 HP machines even in custom operations.

there is no such thing as a jag with 1000hp, there is a prototype in germany but its been chopped up now, we make something called a 980 wich is 830hp and walks past a shitty big x 1000 in the field anyways so why do we need 1000hp?
