Heips. In new local machine newspaper,Koneviesti is tractor list. First time i see Valtra S 260 price, it is 157200 ?
Other interesting thing is that there is only three Zetor models 4341,6341,7341 but without published price. Why?
There is'nt F Valtra but new T is,its seems that new T is about 6000-7000? more expensive as Hitec.
Could somebody say what are prices in europe for Fendt 700 series Varios. There 711 92000? 716 107000?

Hey Triple F, these are our listprices for the Fendts in Sweden:
711 : SEK 814.200:- = approx. 89.000.- Euro
716 : SEK 993.600:- = approx. 108.600.- Euro
Ofcourse these are listprices and if you would buy a 716, no trade in, you would probably pay around 10 - 12% less. The std-equipment covered in these prices are among others AC, 3 x DA-valves, Airpressure brakesystem, hitch, etc...... Tyres for 716 are 650/65R38 ; 540/65R28.

That's an easy decision: Buy an S 260, save 9400 Euro over a 716, and probably have less trouble.
Does anyone know the price for a Deutz 260 ?? i'd like to compare them, they have about the same tranny, and i think the Deutz and the Sisu engines are quite comparable. Does the S260 have the fluid clutch??
Why are Valtra's relatively cheap?? they do make a good product. Does Finland have favourable labour costs, steel costs, or any other advantage over CNH and Deere???

Deutz 260 MK 3 102000-107000 Euro. Maybe the Valtra is so cheap, cause off they will enter more markets, like they had in the past. Even it could be that they have a mixed calculation, so they sell the runners more expensive, and stuff, wich isn't sold so well, less cheaper. But I'm no Valtra-Chairman, and I don't know it at all.

Yes, profit margins are not the same on every model of a particular manufacturer. But i think, if they make the runners more expensive and uncommon models more expensive, they will make the less sold models much more expensive to compensate the cheaper models, because they are sold less. Hey, i just noticed i compared S260 in Pounds, and Fendt in Euros. Not very fair.... Now i know why they were so cheap !!! This means the S 260 is about 40% more expensive than the A 260 !! Well, the Agrotrons dont have a very good name here, so i think the extra money for a Valtra is justified here.

Can you explain the bad points of the Agrotrons?
Are the MK3 equally bad? or are the old series.

Fact is, that Deutz lost a lot of Reputation in Germany with the DX 85 and DX90. They never reached Popularity of the 8006 or 10006 which ad been very cmmon here. Also the business policy of Deutz doesn't even help selling them. Why should I buy a Deutz, if it is produced through Same? Ok, other Engines, maybe another Tranny. But how long will this last?

On Farmphoto, on most Agrotron pictures, they say Agrotrons are crap, they better have kept their old DX.
And i agree, there are more 06 running around than DX'es. I drove a 9505 few years back. It had the 6 cyl. truck engine like in the Magirus, and a lightweight driveline. You better be careful with that clutch, or it will throw sods when you shift from 3rd to 4th gear. It also had LOTS of noise, but it was a nice tractor after all. The guy traded it for an M900. He also has a few Ursuses and Ford 3000 and the such.

About Deutz, now i'm in the point of changing:
actually i have one DX 6.05 and a D7506, time for change my old 7506 (counter stops at 12000 hours five years ago) is coming.
I like to continue in Deutz but Agroplus has a Same transmision and about Agrotrons everybody is talking bad about them...
Anybody has a good opinion of Agrotrons?
(A part de tu Sebas)
About Fendt prices: (without IVA (VAT)) 714: 82000 euro aprox 716: 87000 euro aprox

Hey Xavier:
You got addicted tho the air cooled Deutz ?? They dont sell anymore air cooled diesels in the tractors anyway.
I am told the latest generation (Mk III ?)of Agrotrons are MUCH better than the first two.
So you share my opinion about SAME trannies... I'd say buy an Agrotron 80 - 150, or 230 or 260 with ZF tranny. The 160-200 have the 9 stage troubleshift tranny from Same.

Yes quite satisfacted by air cooled Deutz engines. No problem with them. Low fuel consumption.
I suppose they don't make more for the enviromental protect laws, but not sure, maybe marketing (all other makes have water refrigerated engines).
It's a problem for Deutz-salesman, all life talking about the advantges of air cooled and now they must shut up.
By the way there is a big money difference between a Agroplus (Same trans) and a Agrotron (ZF).
