Hey Kenjar,
It is an early import one(might be the first Valmet I ever drove back in 95),so unfortunately it is Valmet Red. Jim from Hilltree has changed his 6600 color a few times(about every 5000 hours from the sound of it),and says it isnot too hard. The stickers are the easy part, only have to get the side panels for the engine painted.
It has Twin-Trac,DPS,HiTrol,A/C and 2900 hours. I'm trying to get it over here for a demo presently.
There is also a green 6600 around with 1500 hours equipped pretty much the same. But it is in the Gaspe part of Quebec, and the dealer is not answering any of my emails. There is another red 6400 out there too,but that dealer also does not reply.
Hey puds,
Thanks for the link. I'd misplaced it awehile ago.

Kenjar:
I think Youre right about 'Shortonpower' By the way: Ursus also has a kind of sigma power system. 195 engine hp is directed to the PTO, 180 engine hp is directed to the ground. (Dont know how many of those HP finally reach the wheels or the PTO..)
Ursus also had the "powercode" in the eighties. It was a handle which could adjust the maximum fuel injection, bypassing the throttle.

Along with the new 7020 and 6015 tractors, Deere also anounced new planters, notill drills, self-propelled disc-cutters and forage harvester lines in Louisville.
Renze, Massey Harris had something similiar in the 30's and 40's. They called it Twin -Power.

Hey X-man,
Yep,pretty much. The 6015 is the replacement for the 6005 series of economy tractors. We also have the 6003 series from Mexico that is even more basic.

We just had the 6505, the smallest six cylinder model.
In Europe, economy models are called the SE versions, with the fully synchro box, no powershift.

Hello Renze,
the model was called 6506 and placed between 6400 and 6600, dont know why they called it simply 6500. Later it was called 6510 and now 6520. The SE models haw no powershift gears, but a powershift Reverser. SE Models are availiable as (four-cyl.) 6010 SE (75 Eng. HP),6110 SE, 6210 SE, 6310SE, 6410 SE (105 Eng. HP) and (six-cyl.) 6510 SE (105 HP) + 6610 SE (115 Eng. HP)

The SE models i think that could have the Powerquad version with four stages powershift and a left hand reverser. Cab isn't the same, isn't as luxurius than 6020 cab. The 6205 and 6505 are sold here in Catalonia only without cab. Hi Woodbeef seems i have a new nickname X-man, after boy of numbers, well a bit porno but why not . Do you ever hear my name? Xavier is a popular name here in the Catalonian Contries.

Hey X-man,
No, Xavier is a very uncommon name around my part of the world. I can honestly say that you are the first on that I know.

I really don't have any time for this so I'll try to make it short. Gotta get back to the shiny new 7710!
Xavier: Wasn't that mr. Fendts first name?
Woodbeef: Yes, it is pleasing to us that the 7710 stays the same and remains a current production model for a while longer. The 7710 is really nice. If I may have a wish for our next tractor to be replaced I think one with slightly more hp (a 7920 perhaps?), command-arm controlls, TLS-suspension (The ride is nice, I have reason to belive it really does put more power to the ground and also I have compared it to the STEYR front axle - servicing the Green suspended axle is a DREAM! Fewer and better placed greasingspots!!!), front 3pt-hitch, Autoquad transmission (really don't see how the CVT can be justified...) and a few more goodies.
Well, gotta go...

Yes i suppose that Xaver is the germany version of my name.
My friend F6L... could say how popular it is.
ok
7920 is a posibility? why not, but how many hp, you may stay under the 8120 ( 200 hp), and if the 7620 doesn't exist like Woodbeef said, then you will have 7720, 7820, 7920, and why not a 7920S. Between 6920S 160hp, and 8120 200hp it is 40 hp why not 4 models in a 10hp range.
The old series 7000 and the semiold 7010, were anytime imported to Europe in their lowest models? Here in Catalonia i see only 7600, 7700, 7800, 7610, 7710, 7810.

Hello Xavier,
the 7000/7010 Series were only imported to Europe as the bigger Models (7600/7610 - 7800/7810) since we have a 6910/6910S (140/150 hp) we had no 7610 Model availiable in Germany.

i had a good look at a 6605 on the local dealers yard here in kentucky, man what a basic machine
standard, they have a wetclutch, mechanical gearbox, no steps on the right side of the platform, one external hydraulics remote, the 3pt hitch has one lower link arm stabliser, and one extendable ball end for ease of hooking up implements, the 4300 sitting beside it had more bells and whistles, but i guess this is what some farmers want, i would be happy with one on my farm, however the only problem i had with them was no 'shuttle' style shift, even the reverse and the low ranges didn't line up straight enough to allow quick shifts in direction.....
i have seen the 6403 and 6603 advertised in the muncipal purposes brochures, JD produce, this is the dry clutch model........more simplier than simple!
