New Hollands 800hp machine does NOT have a Cat engine this is fitted with a 20 litre V8 Iveco engine producing 812 hp @ ECE R120 @ 1800rpm, this is called the FR9090.
The machine fitted with the Cat engine is the FR9080 18 litre inline 6 piston motor producing 675 hp @ ECE R120 @1800 rpm.
All other lower HP machine have 12.9 and 10.9 litre Iveco engine
Claas forager will have 2 x 400hp inline Merc engines linked b a gearbox like Krone.

800hp forager will be shown at Agritechnica and some demonstarion events in the summer.
There is no 1000hp machine yet, current drive system cannot cope with the power or can the feedroll system as the opening is too small to get the crop in.

Well its got two exhaust pipes... not that that really proves anything... I've always like Claas SPFH, but I'm really interested in the new NH FR9000 models... What I'd be really curious to find out, is any information on a new John Deere? That 7800 has to be seriously out-dated, no? -Josh

I've heard rumours on other forums that Deere is ready to release a new 7000i Series SPFH, with the 'i' being similar to the 9000i Combines. I assume this means minor changes and updates, as the 'i' series combines were mainly the changes the US models recieved when they became 'Bullet Rotors' in '06. I wonder if they will be called 7X10 Series in NA, that should add to the model confusion even more! 1999 7410 Tractor or 2009 7410 SPFH?

The SPFH 7000i series already exists. It's there.
